Clark is probably impressed because the damp makes it seem so much colder. Glad that they could get some game in. I'm sure that raised spirits greatly.

It's sort of amusing in retrospect that Clark would express any concern about the potentiality of these tribes to be hostile to the Corps. They certainly aren't known as particularly war-like people.

Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say thanks again for covering the gang. It's fun to read your stuff everyday, and a big relief to have this in someone else's most capable hands!
